Ridge-nosed Rattlesnake

Arizona’s state reptile, the Ridge-nosed Rattlesnake, is small, hard to spot and built for life in the roughest parts of the state. It’s one of the few rattlesnakes that prefers cooler, shaded ground — more likely found under pine needles than out in the open.

Named for the raised scales along its nose, it stays hidden until it has a reason not to. This design gives quiet credit to a desert native that doesn’t need attention to earn respect.

Sales from this collection support charities dedicated to protecting and restoring the wildlife corridors, water sources and fragile ecosystems of the Sky Island region — the same rugged terrain this rare species calls home.
